Outbuildings is a family-run adult-only hotel near Bridport in West Dorset, set in the countryside just a short drive from the Jurassic Coast.
At its heart is a working farm, but Outbuildings is first and foremost a place to stay—offering 12 individually designed rooms, each created with comfort, character and simplicity in mind.
Guests can enjoy the Hay Barn Cinema, unwind in private hot tubs, explore the surrounding Dorset countryside, or dine at The Cart Shed Restaurant, which serves seasonal dishes in a relaxed setting.
We welcome dogs in selected rooms and offer a laid-back escape designed for rest, great food and time well spent.

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of West Dorset, Outbuildings offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Former farm outbuildings blend with new thoughtfully planned structures to create 10 rooms, styled to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. The same ethos flows through to the onsite facilities with cinema, picnics, hot tubs, drinking and dining all helping to induce a sense of restorative joy and calm.
Everything, from the food you eat to the products with which you bathe, all have purpose, further enhancing the feeling of place and presence.
Outbuildings welcomes well behaved dogs and infants up to 18 months, other than this we have created a child free space to give you a chance to reconnect in peace.

Being so deeply rooted in the local area with a 'just down the road' ethos, our meaningful and enduring relationships with suppliers, some of which our family has used for generations, mean we use only the finest produce the South West has to offer to supplement what is grown here on the farm. Creating a dynamic menu that changes with the seasons and a chance to reconnect with what food really means.
